This is the second shot I did for my “Brandochrome” series. I was aiming for a dark, gritty, contrasty picture. I wanted the light to be harsh and to only partially illuminate the subject and the background, forming a downward angled ray; A biker waiting in a dark alley way, illuminated by a street lamp was the effect I was trying to achieve. I wanted the wall to have graffiti on it, so after some thought I photoshopped in the symbol of “anarchist communism”. It was a tongue in cheek dig at the Sons of Anarchy-esque look of the photo. All in all, the photo came out exactly like I had it planned in my head, so I am quite happy with it.
